JavaScript Breakout!

A small JavaScript game originally created in 2009, given a small face-lift at the time of this post.

Use the mouse to move the paddle, left click for action (This action is displayed below your score). Pay attention to that your score increments faster if you don't keep a ball on your paddle! So if you play too carefully, you won't get a too high score. The game offers 15 levels and a good set of bonuses, hope that's enough for a bit of old-school fun. Note that MS Explorer is slow at JavaScript, use any other browser if you feel it's too bad.

The game may be used by a permissive MIT license, you can download a ready to use package attached to this post.

Thanks, Amalesh! I added a proper package now for download (I even thought it was there) including a permissive MIT license to have things clear. Good to know it has some use! :)

Huh, thanks! A bit old though, from before canvas, just using positioned backgrounds and divs, but I tried to get the game experience itself solid ;)

I must say this is probably the best version of Breakout I have played, nice.
